'Put an educator in the House' is more than a slogan.  It represents a set of values that we need in our leaders.  Teaching prepares you for just about anything that life can throw at you.  Amy is able to work with all kinds of students, parents, other teachers, and administrators (just the skill set needed as a State Delegate). Amy cares deeply about her students. They are, after all, the future, and she is preparing them for the world they will live in and eventually be leaders themselves. She loves to learn, very necessary for all the things that come up in the legislature.  I've been in a book club with her and am impressed with her breadth of knowledge and interests. Amy is an active member of our community. It was amazing to see her (and other women) step up during the Pandemic while some of us floundered, wondering what was happening.  The formation of OMO- Oakland Mills Online met the needs of students, parents, and the community at large during an extremely challenging time. But the favorite thing I like about Amy is her positive can-do attitude and her ability to tackle anything with a smile. She has my vote in the 2026 primary, and I hope she will have yours, too. -Sue
